Lincoln Moves Into Sectional Championship

SPRINGFIELD -- Lincoln, a member of the Apollo Conference, will be competing for the Class 3A Springfield Southeast Sectional championship.

Lincoln downed Urbana, 70-53 in semifinal round action Wednesday evening.

Lincoln will now meet Springfield Southeast at 7 p.m. Friday for the sectional championship.

The winner then advances to the Springfield Super-Sectional Tuesday at 7 p.m. against either East  St. Louis or Mascoutah.
