Area Girls Named to IBCA All-State Teams

Sevearl area players were named to the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All-State Teams.

In Class 1A, Brownstown/St. Elmo's Claire Wilhour, a junior, was named to the Second Team.

Becoming a Class 1A Third Team member was Effingham St. Anthony's Clare McHugh, a senior.

Named Special Mention was Leah Mayhaus, and Joanna Schultz, seniors from Altamont.

Teutopolis High School put four players on teams.

Sadie Bueker, a senior, was named to the Class 2A First Team.

Named to the Second Team was Lexie Niebrugge, a sophomore.

Third Team honors went to Morgan Mette, a senior.

Honorable Mention was claimed by Claire Bushur, a junior.
