CHAMPAIGN -- Effingham St. Anthony competed in the Champaign Centennial Boys Sophomore Basketball Tournament and lost two games Saturday.

St. Anthony fell to the host squad, 52-17. Centennial led 31-12 at halftime.

The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Kennan Walsh with six points.

The Bulldogs dropped a 41-36 contest to Mahomet-Seymour.

St. Anthony took an 8-7 opening quarter lead but trailed 16-10 at halftime and 29-17 going into the final quarter. Walsh led the way in scoring with 15 points.
