Westbrook Sets New NBA Record

Russell Westbrook set a new NBA record last night with his 10th consecutive triple-double in the Thunder’s 120-111 win over the Trail Blazers. Westbrook broke the mark of nine straight games set by Wilt Chamberlain in 1968.


Harden Keeps Streak  Alive

James Harden barely kept his consecutive 30-point games streak alive Monday night as he scored his 31st point with less than a minute remaining in the Rockets’ 120-104 win over Mavericks. It was Harden’s 30th straight 30-point game.


Hawks Waive Lin

The Atlanta Hawks have waived veteran guard Jeremy Lin. Lin is expected to sign later this week with the Toronto Raptors.

 

Tennessee Remains Atop AP Poll

Tennessee remains atop the Associated Press college basketball poll. Duke remained in second place, with Gonzaga, Virginia and Kentucky rounding out the top five.
