TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis claimed a freshman/sophomore boys basketball win over Effingham Saturday, 43-33.

T-town held an 11-8 opening quarter lead but Effingham fought back within a point at halftime. The Shoes then moved ahead 32-27 going into the final quarter and had an 11-6 run.

Ruholl scored 13 while Poelker tallied 11 for the winners.

Effingham was led by Brayden Pals with 10.
