North Clay (Louisville) and South Central picked up victories in the Class 8-2A Effingham St. Anthony Boys Baskeball Regional Saturday.
South Central claimed the opener by edging St. Elmo/Brownstown, 57-54.
In the second contest, North Clay was also a three-point winner over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, 37-34.
CHBC held a 20-16 halftime lead and led 26-23 going into the final quarter. North Clay then rallied with a 14-8 run as Boose scored eight points on two field goals and four of five at the line. Smith knocked in a three-pointer and a free throw and Fleener two free throws in the rally.
Boose finished with 15 points while Fleener added 13. CHBC was led by Hayden Corley with 14. CHBC finished the season with a 6-16 record.

Class 1A Pana Sacred Heart Regional
Five games were contested at the Pana Sacred Heart Regional.
Ramsey downed Mulberry Grove, 39-27 while Pana Sacred Heart pounded Sorento, 54-15. Pocahontas captured a 38-18 win over Findlay Okaw Valley.
Stew-Stras handed Ramsey a 52-12 loss. Stew-Stras led 34-8 at halftime and never looked back.
A. Wittenberg scored 15 for the winners while J. Wittenberg added 14. Stew-Stras stands at 22-1 on the season and will play for the championship Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. against Pana Sacred Heart.

Class 8-1A Sigel St. Michael Regional
Windsor and host Sigel St. Michael advanced from opening round play Saturday.
Windsor edged Effingham Sacred Heart, 40-39 in the opening contest.
In the second game, Sigel St. Michael trounced Kansas, 35-5.
Windsor will meet Newton St. Thomas at 6 p.m. Tuesday while St. Michael takes on Martinsville at 7:15.
Class 8-2A Dieterich Regional
Neoga easily advanced in the Dieterich Regional with a victory Saturday.
Neoga bounced Oblong, 43-17 in the opening contest.
In the second game, Paris pounded Hutsonville, 66-4.
Neoga will meet Casey-Westfield tonight at 6 followed by Paris Crestwood against Dieterich at 7:15.
Class 8-3A Lawrencevile Parkview Regional
Robinson Nuttall and Lawrenceville Parkview were opening round winners at this regional Saturday.
Robinson Nuttall defeated Jasper County, 43-38.
Lawrenceville Parkview was an easy 47-18 winner over Red Hill (Bridgeport).
Robinson Nuttall will now meet Teutopolis Tuesday at 6 p.m. followed by Lawrenceville Parkview against Marshall at 7:15 p.m.
Class 8-3A Arthur Regional
Paris Mayo won its opening round contest at the Arthur Regional Saturday.
Paris Mayo defeated Shelbyville Moulton, 36-31.
In the second game, Tuscola East Prairie downed Sullivan, 24-20.
Paris Mayo meets Arthur at 6 p.m. today while Tuscola East Prairie takes on Cumberland at 7:15.
Class 8-4A Mount Zion Regional
Mount Zion handed Mattoon a loss in a low scoring contest at the Mount Zion Regional Saturday, 18-16.
In the second game, Stephen Decatur edged Decatur Jefferson, 44-40.
Mount Zion advances to face Charleston at 6 p.m. today followed by Stephen Decatur against Effingham at 7:30.
