Effingham St. Anthony downed Altamont in junior high school boys basketball Thursday.
The Bullpups won the seventh-grade contest, 41-9. They held an 18-2 halftime lead.
Roepke scored 10 points while Westendorf added nine for the winners. Altamont was led by McCammon with three.
In eighth-grade action, St. Anthony edged Altamont, 48-45. Altamont held an 11-9 opening quarter lead but the Bullpups moved ahead 24-20 at halftime. Altamont came back with a 12-9 run in the third quarter to trail by one going into the final period. St. Anthony outscored Altamont 15-13.
Levitt scored 18 while Sager added 12 and Willenborg 10 for the Bullpups. Altamont was led by Kollmann with 10.

At Strasburg
Stewardson-Strasburg claimed two wins over Windsor in action Thursday.
Stew-Stras picked up a 35-19 win in seventh-grade play. Manhart scored 21 to lead the winners. Windsor was led by Hendrickson with eight.
Stew-Stras is now 7-13 on the season.
In eighth-grade play, Stew-Stras led 23-4 at halftime and went on for a 49-17 victory.
A. Wittenborg scored 13 for the winners while J. Wittenberg added 10. Windsor was led by Rincker with 13.
Stew-Stras is now 18-1 on the season.

Teutopolis claimed two victories over Salem Franklin Park Thursday.
The Wooden Shoes won the seventh-grade encounter 44-23. T-town took a 15-5 opening quarter lead and never looked back. Evan Waldhoff led the way with eight points.
In eighth-grade action, T-town jumped out to a 17-2 opening quarter lead and led 31-2 at halftime. James Niebrugge scored 10 points for the Shoes.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City claimed both games over Mulberry Grove Thursday evening.
In seventh-grade action, CHBC pounded Mulberry Grove, 42-10. CHBC held a 31-4 halftime lead.
Carson Evans scored 14 and Clayton Wojcik 10 for the winners.
In the eighth-grade contest, CHBC claimed a 44-22 victory. CHBC rushed out to a 23-7 halftime lead.
Trevor Theis scored 20 for the winners.
