Effingham St. Anthony Junior High School split victories with Centralia in boys basketball action Wednesday.

The Bullpups won the seventh-grade contest over Centralia, 34-18. St. Anthony held a 16-10 halftime lead and had an 18-8 second half.

Max Koenig was the lone player in double figures for the Bullpups with 12.

In eighth-grade play, Centralia picked up a 46-39 win. St. Anthony held a 16-10 opening quarter lead but Centralia came back to lead 22-20 at halftime and never looked back.

St. Anthony was led by Griffin Sehy with 15 and Eli Levitt 10.
