TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis picked up two wins in both seventh and eighth grade boys basketball action Saturday.

The Wooden Shoes defeated Highland in seventh-grade play, 43-19. Pruemer led the way with eight points.

In eighth-grade play, T-town downed Highland, 48-37. T-town had a 24-18 halftime lead and outran Highland 18-7 in the third quarter. B. Niebrugge scored 20 and Ca. Siemer 12.

T-town then defeated Centralia, 48-5 in seventh-grade play with a 21-2 second period. Koester and Pruemer had eight each.

In the eighth-grade contest, T-town won over Centralia, 52-37. The Shoes had a 17-7 opening quarter. B. Niebrugge and Ca. Siemer scored 17 each.
