SULLIVAN -- Effingham St. Anthony handed Sullivan two losses in freshman/sophomore boys basketball action Thursday.
The Bulldogs won the freshman game, 39-15. Craig Croy tallied 12 for the winners while Kyle Stewart added nine.
In the sophomore game, St. Anthony picked up a 41-10 victory. The Bulldogs played to a 21-2 halftime lead.
Hotz tallied 14 and Croy 12 for the Bulldogs.

At Newton
Newton captured a freshman/sophomore boys basketball win over Robinson Thursday, 53-45.
The Eagles held a 27-22 halftime lead then had a 13-9 third period run.
Einhorn scored 10 while Tharp and Schafer added eight each. Newton improves to 2-3.
