All of the Effingham Unit #40 family has the community and schools of Taylorville on their hearts and in their prayers.
At this Friday's home boys basketball game against Lincoln, EHS is planning on multiple opportunities for the Hearts Nation to show their support.  All funds will be forwarded to "Missions for Taylorville".

Gate proceeds will be donated  Donation buckets will be available at the entrance

EHS students will walk the aisles of the stands at the end of the first quarter of the varsity ballgame to collect donations

Purple and gold wristbands will be handed out to show their support

Student Council will donate all profits from Friday's concession stand

Hearts fans are asked to pack the gym Friday night. Consider temporarily changing your Hearts red to Taylorville's purple/gold in support of a fellow Apollo Conference school. If you cannot attend Friday's game but wish to donate, you may do so through Wednesday, December 12.  Drop off your donation at the EHS office or Unit #40 Board office on Banker Street by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12.  Make checks payable to EHS or Unit #40 and write Taylorville fund on the memo line.  All funds will be sent to:
