Effingham St. Anthony played host to Flora in freshman/sophomore boys basketball play Saturday and picked up two victories.

The Bulldogs edged Flora, 30-29 in freshman play. St. Anthony led 15-10 at halftime and 21-19 going into the final quarter. Flora had a 10-9 final period only to fall short.

St. Anthony was led by Craig Croy with 12 points and Kyle Stewart with nine.

In the sophomore contest, St. Anthony dominated for a 54-13 victory.

Three players hit double figures for the Bulldogs. Croy led the way with 12 while Ty Wiedman and Seth Hotze added 11 each.
