Teutopolis captured both the freshman and sophomore boys basketball games over Effingham St. Anthony Thursday evening.
The Wooden Shoes won the freshman contest, 48-25. T-town took a 28-12 halftime lead.
Althoff tallied 12 while Bannick scored 11 for the winners.
St. Anthony was led by Craig Croy with nine.
In the sophomore game, T-town was a 54-28 winner. T-town held a 32-17 halftime lead. M. Deters tallied 16 while J. Hardiek added 13 for the winners.
The Bulldogs were led by Justin Ruholl with 11.

At Effingham
Mattoon came calling and picked up two victories over Effingham in freshman/sophomore action Thursday.
The Green Wave claimed the freshman game, 47-31. Mattoon held a two-point lead at halftime before going on a 24-10 second half run.
Effingham was led by Brayden Pals with 12 points.
In the sophomore game, Mattoon was a 58-45 winner. The Green Wave led 29-21 at halftime. Effingham made a comeback bid with a 16-9 third quarter but Mattoon came back with a 20-8 final period run.
Effingham had three players in double figures. Jackson Lee tallied 13 while Max Woelfer and Max Hardiek scored 10 each.

At Newton
Newton picked up two victories over Paris in freshman and sophomore play Thursday.
In the freshman contest, Newton took a 29-18 halftime lead and led 45-26 going into the final period. The Eagles were led by Ben Meinhart with 17 points and Mason Mulvey with 10. Mason Schafer led in rebounds with four.
In sophomore play, Newton held only a 23-21 halftime lead then had a 16-9 third quarter run to pull out a 60-54 win.
Will Geier tallied 16 points to lead the way and pulled down six rebounds. Mitchell Zumbahlen added nine points. Kenny Hartke led in rebounds with eight.
