TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis High School handed visiting Champaign St. Thomas More a 57-23 loss in girls regular season play Tuesday evening.

The Wooden Shoes edged out to a 13-8 opening quarter lead and led 24-15 at halftime. T-town then had a 16-5 third quarter run.

Two players hit double figures for the winners. L. Niebrugge tallied 15 while C. Bushur added 12. Niebrugge hit five field goals that included three trifectas.

M. Mette led in rebounds with five, had three steals and two assists. Bushur also had three steals.
