South Central Picks Up Tourney Victory

MULBERRY GROVE -- South Central High School picked up its second victory at the Mulberry Grove Boys Basketball Turkey Tournament Tuesday evening.
The Cougars handed Mount Olive a 53-35 loss. South Central ran off to a 23-6 opening quarter lead and never looked back.
Roberts scored 10 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for the winners. Miller and Willshire added nine points each.
Father McGivney captured the second game over Ramsey, 61-46.
Mulberry Grove defeated Patoka, 60-49.
The tourney continues tonight as St. Elmo/Brownstown takes on Father McGivney at 5:15 followed by Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City against Ramsey at 6:45 and Mount Olive facing Mulberry Grove at 8:15.
