ALTAMONT -- Altamont fell to Greenville in both seventh and eighth-grade boys basketball competition Monday evening.
In the seventh-grade game, Greenville was a 42-11 winner. Altamont was led by Carl with five points.
In the eighth-grade game, Greenville took a 21-8 halftime lead and went on for a 44-28 victory.
Altamont was led by Rippetoe with nine points.

Casey-Westfield tallied two victories over Jasper County in action Monday evening.
Casey-Westfield won the seventh-grade game, 49-42. Casey-Westfield had a 17-4 third quarter run.
Jasper County was led by Caden Nichols with 14 points. Jasper County drops to 4-2.
In the eighth-grade game, Casey-Westfield picked up a 55-12 victory.
Jasper County was led by Jack Kinkade and Nick Shamhart with four points each. Jasper County falls to 1-5.

North Clay (Lousiville) and Brownstown/St. Elmo each picked up a win Monday evening.
BSE captured the seventh-grade game, 41-28. BSE stepped out to a 21-8 first half lead.
Schaub tallied 14 points while J. Maxey added 12 for the winners. North Clay was led by Dawkins with 12.
In eighth-grade action, North Clay was a 46-36 winner. Leading 24-22 at halftime, North Clay then had a 14-6 third period.
Fleener scored 19 while Smith added 15 and Boose 10 for the winners who improve to 6-4.
BSE was led by Campbell with 14 and Dagen with 10.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City downed Effingham Sacred Heart in action Monday evening.
CHBC won the seventh-grade game, 37-28. CHBC led 21-10 at halftime.
Carson Evans tallied 13 for the winners. Sacred Heart was led by Noah Biggs with 20.
In eighth-grade action, CHBC claimed a 41-31 victory. The score was knotted at 14-14 at halftime. CHBC then had an 11-5 third quarter run.
Kenny Robbins tallied 12 for the winners. McDevitt led Sacred Heart with 11 while Tegelar added 10.

Teutopolis handed Dieterich two losses in action Monday evening.
The Wooden Shoes won the seventh-grade contest, 44-4. E.R. Thoele and A. Bloemer scored six points each for the winners. Wente and Holste had two points each for Dieterich.
In the eighth-grade contest, T-town was a 45-19 winner. The Shoes held a 31-7 halftime lead. Brendan Niebrugge, Logan Roepke and Caleb Siemer scored eight points each for the Shoes. Britton led Dieterich with 10.
