Teutopolis, Pana Split in Girls Frosh/Soph Competition

PANA -- Teutopolis and Pana split victories in freshman/sophomore girls basketball competition Monday evening.

T-town claimed the freshman contest 35-34. Pana led 17-16 at halftime and 24-20 going into the final quarter. The Wooden Shoes then had a 15-10 run to pull out the victory.

Leading T-town were Anni Borries with 16 and Anna Hartke with 11.

In the sophomore game, Pana was a 54-46 winner. Pana edged out to a 20-18 halftime lead then had a 14-5 third period run.

T-town was led by Hannah Bueker with 16 points and Jenny McMahon added eight.
