Stewardson-Strasburg won the National Trail Conference Seventh-Grade Girls Basketball Tournament.  Members of the team are, front row, left to right,  Ella Kinkelaar, Addie Wernsing and Stacie Vonderheide. Stewardson-Strasburg captured the championshp of the National Trail Conference Seventh-Grade Girls Basketball Tournament Saturday.

Stew-Stras edged Sigel St. Michael, 28-25 in the championship game.

North Clay (Louisville) took third place with a 45-26 win over Brownstown/St. Elmo.

Altamont won the consolation championship by downing Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, 44-21.

Altamont stepped out to a 17-4 opening quarter lead and led 25-9 at halftime. Grace Nelson tallied 19 points for the winners while Peyton Osteen chipped in with 10.

CHBc was led by Ruby Stuckemeyer with 12.
