T-town Girls Frosh/Soph Squad Drops Games to Breese Mater Dei

TEUTOPOLIS -- Breese Mater Dei traveled to Teutopolis and handed the Wooden Shoes a 64-41 loss in girls freshman competition Tuesday evening.

Mater Dei took a 17-9 opening quarter lead and led 35-23 at halftime. The two teams played to a 9-9 tie in the third period but Mater Dei finished out with a 20-9 fourth quarter run.

Mater Dei had four players in double figures, Beckman with 16, Grace with 15, Theising with 13 and Donnewald with 10. T-town was led by Jerry McMahon with 10 and Hannah Bueker with eight.

In the sophomore contest, Breese Mater Dei was a 64-41 winner.
