The Phoenix Suns didn’t look far for the first pick in the 2018 NBA Draft as they selected the University of Arizona’s Deandre Ayton. Meanwhile, Michael Porter Jr., who claimed he was the best player in this draft despite playing just three games and 53 minutes at Missouri, was chosen 14th by the Denver Nuggets.

The Dallas Mavericks chose Slovenian Luka Doncic in last night’s NBA draft after swapping their No. 5 pick and a first rounder next year with the Atlanta Hawks for the No. 3 selection

A couple of first round picks in last night’s NBA draft didn’t even have a chance to suit up for their new teams. Philadelphia and Phoenix traded their first round picks with the 76ers sending Mikal Bridges to the Suns for Zhaire Smith.
