Effingham junior Landon Wolfe was named to the first team on the Decatur Herald and Review All-Area Boys Basketball Team.

The 6'5" junior averaged almost 28 points per game and went well past 1,000 career points with a senior season still to go.

Cumberland senior Tyson Magee also made the first team, along with Malcolm Miller of Shelbyville, Connor Heaton of Central A&M and Calvin Fisher of Monticello.

Second Team honors went to Mitchell Stevenson of Altamont and Luke Richards of Casey-Westfield. Third Team honorees included Nick Cohorst of Newton, Lee Hardiek of Teutopolis and Adam Levitt of St. Anthony.

Those getting an Honorable Mention included Alex Beesley of St. Anthony, Alek Biggs of Altamont, Lewis Brown of St. Elmo/Brownstown, Jack Chapman of Newton, Alex Deters of St. Anthony, Mason Hull of Effingham, Zach Jansen of Newton, Reece Johnson of Neoga, Christian Kessler of Windsor/Stew-Stras, Eric Kremer of Teutopolis, Jack Nuxoll of St. Anthony, Ryan Radloff of Dieterich, Dawson Smith of Teutopolis, Cade Walsh of St. Anthony, Clint Weber of Teutopolis and Zach Wolke of Cumberland.
