Olivia Lett Named Millikin Women's Basketball Coach

Olivia Lett has been named head women's basketball coach at Millikin University. She is replacing retiring Lori Kerans and is only the third coach in the school's history.

Lett has been the assistant women's basketball coach at the University of Chicago for the last two years. The squad went to the NCAA Division II Tournament both years. She was an assistant coach at Illinois Wesleyan for three years.

Lett is a graduate of Pana High School. She attended Southern Illinois University then transferred to Illinois Wesleyan. She played on Illinois Wesleyan teams that won three straight CCIW regular season and tournament championships. She played on the team that took fourth place at the NCAA Tournament in 2011 and won the national championship in 2012. She was named CCIW Player of the Year in 2012.

She is still the career scoring leader at Pana with 2,439 points. She played professional basketball in Spain for one year.
