EHS Frosh Move Record to 6-1

OLNEY -- The Effingham High School freshman boys basketball team pushed its record to 6-1 going into the Christmas break with a victory over Olney Monday evening.
The Hearts moved into a 19-11 opening quarter lead behind six points each by Jared Minor and Michael Woltman. The Hearts stood at 31-19 at halftime and had an 18-6 third period surge to pick up the win 64-37.
Minor finished the game as the only EHS player in double figures with 14. Woltman finished with eight while Sean Zrrrusen, Nate Gengler and Ryan Barnes tallied seven each.
