Frosh/Soph Boys Basketball -- Feb. 15

MOUNT VERNON -- Effingham's freshman boys basketball squad traveled to Mount Vernon and fell to the Rams, 63-42 Thursday evening.

The score was tied at 12-12 after the opening quarter and 25-25 at halftime. The Rams then caught fire with a 27-8 third quarter and that was the game.

Effingham was led by Max Woelfer with 12 points and Tristin Duncan with eight.
