Neoga downs South Central in Boys Cage Action

NEOGA -- Neoga High School played host to South Central and claimed a 56-41 National Trail Conference boys basketball victory Monday evening.

The Indians edged out to a 9-8 opening quarter lead as Reese Johnson nailed a three-pointer and a regular basket and Drew Ramert connected on a trifecta.

Neoga then took off with a 21-10 second quarter run as Caleb Hill connected on two three-pointers and Johnson added to his total with eight more points.

Ramert finished with 20 points for the Indians while Johnson chipped in with 18. Neoga connected on eight three-pointers as Johnson had four, Ramert two and Hill two.

South Central had one player in double digits, Trent Geiler with 18.
