NEOGA -- Effingham St. Anthony downed Cumberland, 57-48 in the Neoga Freshman/Sophomore Boys Basketball Tournament Monday.
The Bulldogs trailed Cumberland, 16-15 after the first quarter but took a 27-21 halftime lead and led 41-36 going into the final quarter.
Logan Antrim tallied 28 points while Seth Hotze chipped in with 10.
Cumberland was led by Dill with 13 and Hemmen with 11.
St. Anthony then fell to Teutopolis, 70-49. T-town held a 36-18 halftime lead. Hemmen scored 23 for the winners while Deters added 13 and Wermert 10.
St. Anthony was led by Jack Hoene with 17, Aaron Webb with 11 and Kayden Fearday with 10.
