SEB Beats Sandoval in Boys Cage Action

SANDOVAL -- St. Elmo/Brownstown High School zipped out to a 36-2 opening quarter lead and went on to trounce Sandoval, 90-30 in boys basketball action Thursday evening.
Four players hit double figures for the winners. Lewis Brown tallied 25 points while Isaac Maxey added 16, Andy Goldsborough 12 and Nate Philpot 12.
BSE hit 57 percent from the field, including 47 percent from three-point range, and was 12 of 18 at the line. BSE hit 10 three-pointers with Brown and Maxey scoring on three each.
Sandoval was led by Christian Melton with 10 points.
