Frosh/Soph Boys Basketball Results -- Jan. 22

Effingham and Taylorville split freshman/sophomore boys basketball wins Monday evening.

The Hearts won the freshman game, 63-43. EHS took a 35-29 halftime lead then had a 28-14 second half.

Jackson Lee scored 19 to lead the Hearts while Tristan Duncan added 15.

In the sophomore game, Taylorville claimed a 57-52 win.

The Tornadoes led 23-18 at halftime and 43-31 going into the final quarter. The Hearts came back with a 21-14 run only to fall short.

EHS was led by Austin Waldhoff with 12 and Parker Snow with 11.
