Effingham St. Anthony picked up a freshman/sophomore boys basketball win over Mattoon in action Tuesday evening.
The Bulldogs stepped out to a 36-19 halftime lead and had a 25-11 third quarter run.
Three Bulldogs hit double digits. Jack Hoene and Aaron Webb scored 17 points each while Jack Elder tallied 12. Kennan Walsh was on the verge with nine points.

Mattoon claimed a girls freshman/sophomore victory over Effingham Tuesday evening, 30-18.
The Green Wave took a 21-11 halftime lead.
Effingham was led by Diveley and Armstrong with five points each.
