Effingham St. Anthony High School handed Breese Mater Dei a 57-47 non-conference boys basketball loss Friday.
The Bulldogs edged out to a 13-11 opening quarter lead then pushed ahead by five at halftime. St. Anthony had a 31-26 second half for the victory.
Three players hit double digits for the Bulldogs. Adam Levitt led the way with 18 points while Alex Beesley added 16 and Alex Deters chipped in with 13.
St. Anthony also claimed the junior varsity game 51-46. Ludwig scored 13 and Wall 11 for the winners.

At Teutopolis
St. Joseph-Ogden came calling Friday evening and claimed a 69-60 win over Teutopolis.
St. Joe-Ogden edged out to a 13-12 opening quarter lead and led 32-30 at halftime. St. Joe then had a 16-15 third quarter and outscored the Shoes 21-15 in the final period.
Brooks led the winners with 23 points while Orcutt added 17 and Haake 10.
T-town was led by Dawson Smith with 12 while Eric Kremer added 10. Kremer and Clint Weber had five rebounds each. Smith led in assists with five.
The Shoes drop to 13-3 on the season. They'll be back in action in the Salem Tournament Wednesday against Mount Vernon at 8 p.m.

At Dieterich
Dieterich downed South Central 75-68 in National Trail Conference action Friday.
The Movin' Maroons took an 18-15 opening quarter lead and led 33-28 at halftime. Dieterich led 52-44 going into the final quarter.
Callaway Campton scored 32 to lead the Maroons. He scored nine in the opening quarter and had a 12-point third period.
Also in double figures were Ryan Radloff with 18 and Tyler Higgs with 10. Dieterich connected on 26 of 37 free throws.
South Central was led by four players in double digits. Ryan McCown led with 15 while Logan Lotz, Trent Geiler and Hunter Brandt tallied 14 each.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg handed Neoga 60-49 National Trail Conference loss Friday evening.
Neoga led 14-11 after the opening quarter and 33-30 at halftime. Windsor/Stew-Stras came back with a 15-6 third quarter and had a 15-10 final period for the win.
Gavin Bennett led the Hatchets with 24 points while Chase Thies added 14. WSS improves to 2-2 in the conference, 8-7 overall.
Neoga was led by Reece Johnson with 17 and Drew Ramert with 16. The Indians drop to 2-3 in the conference, 6-8 overall.
Neoga captured the junior varsity contest 56-51.
