STRASBURG -- Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg High School ran off to a 27-7 opening quarter lead and went on for a 58-38 win over Martinsville in girls basketball Tuesday.

Hannah Hayes was the lone Hatchet player in double figures with 17. She connected on six field goals and was five of six at the line.

Okaw Valley High School downed Brownstown/St. Elmo 55-37 in girls basketball action Tuesday.

Okaw Valley stepped out to a 16-7 opening quarter lead and led 22-19 at halftime.

BSE was led by two players in double figures. Claire Wilhour tallied 13 points while Natalie Oberlink scored 11.
