When you take a 7-0 lead and end up winning by 12, you know you were in a battle.

The St. Anthony Bulldogs downed the Neoga Indians 67-55 Tuesday night at Neoga in a game heard on 979XFM and www.979xfm.com

Neoga bounced back later in the first quarter but still trailed 14-8 at the end of the period. The second quarter was the difference in the game, as the Bulldogs outscored the Indians 18-8 to lead 32-16 at halftime. St. Anthony at one point led by 19.

The second half was a different story, though, as Neoga scored more points in the third quarter, 18, than in the entire first half and trailed 44-34 entering the fourth quarter. The final period was a doozy as St. Anthony outscored Neoga 23-21 to win by a dozen.
