Junior High Regionals -- Nov. 22

North Clay (Louisville) Junior High School captured the Class 7-2A St. Anthony Girls Basketball Regional Wednesday.

North Clay (Louisville) held a 14-11 halftime lead then had a 19-9 third period against St. Anthony.

Conley tallied 11 for the winners. Lucy Fearday led the Bullpups with six.

North  Clay advances to the Neoga Sectional and will take on Paris Crestwood at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Class 7-4A Effingham  Regional

Effingham pounded Charleston 41-14 to win its own Class 7-4A Regional.

The Mustangs will advance to their own sectional this coming Wednesday and will face Mahomet-Seymour at 6:30 p.m.
