Sigel St. Michael captured the championship of the Class 7-1A Dieterich Girls Basketball Regional Tuesday evening.

The Sharpshooters took a 5-0 first inning lead and pushed that to 16-2 at halftime over Dieterich. St. Michael had a 6-0 third quarter and finished up with a 29-7 win.

Bueker tallied 11 points for the winners who advance to the Okaw Valley Sectional Wednesday, November 29 to face Decatur Lutheran at 6:30 p.m.

Class 7-2A South Central Regional

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City came away with the championship at the South Central Regional Tuesday.

CHBC claimed a 39-20 win over Nokomis.

Mady Wojcik tallied 14 points while Gracie Heckert added 12 for the winners. CHBC now advances to the Assumption Central A&M Sectional and will face Decatur Hope Wednesday, November 29 at 6:30 p.m.

Class 7-3A Lawrenceville Parkview Regional

Teutopolis is moving on after downing Robinson 34-14 in the championship game of the Lawrenceville Parkview Regional Tuesday.

T-town broke an 8-8 tie in the second quarter with an 8-0 run then had an 18-6 second half.

Emily Konkel tallied 12 for the winners while Courtney Gibson chipped in with eight. The Shoes improve to 18-4 and will advance to their own sectional Wednesday November 29 where they will face Tuscola East Prairie at 6:30 p.m.
