Bulldogs Drop Loss at Robinson Girls Tourney

ROBINSON -- Effingham St. Anthony High School fell to Olney in the RobinsonThanksgiving Girls Basketball Invitational Tuesday.

The two teams played to a 12-12 opening quarter tie. Olney then had a 13-3 second period run to lead 25-15 at halftime. The Tigers continued to roll in the third quarter with a 13-4 run.

Olney was led by Luna with 16 and LeCrone with 12.

St. Anthony was led by Richards with eight points. Clausius led in rebounds with eight while McHugh and Saba had three assists each.

In the second game, Charleston pounded Robinson 67-12.

The third contest went to Marshall over Oblong 42-28.
