Bulldogs to Compete in Robinson Thanksgiving Girls Invite, T-town at Salem

Effingham  St. Anthony High School will compete in the Robinson Thanksgiving Girls Basketball Invitational. The Bulldogs are in Pool A with Robinson, Olney and Charleston. Pool B includes Mount Carmel, Fairfield, Marshall and Oblong.

The event begins Tuesday, November 21 and will run  Friday, November 24 and Saturday, November 25.

The Bulldogs meet Olney at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. They then take on Charleston at 10:30 a.m. Friday and Robinson at 8 p.m. The Saturday action will be pool finishers facing each other.

Salem Thanksgiving Tournament

Teutopolis will be competing in the 17th Annual Wildcat Thanksgiving Round Robin Tournament.

Teams entered along with the Shoes include Belleville Althoff, Centralia, Carterville, Highland and host Salem.

T-town will face Carterville at 6 p.m. Friday, November 17. In Saturday, November 18 action, the Wooden Shoes meet Belleville Althoff at 11 a.m. and Salem at 4 p.m.

The tournament doesn't conclude until Saturday, November 25 when the Shoes meet Highland at 2 p.m. and take on Centralia at 6:30 p.m.
