Altamont claimed two victories over Greenville in junior high girls basketball competition Friday.
In the seventh-grade contest, Altamont won 31-12. Altamont held a 15-2 halftime lead.
Becker tallied 12 and Nelson 10 for the winners.
In the eighth-grade game, Altamont was a 35-24 winner.
Altamont hit 14 field goals and was seven of 15 at the line. McManaway tallied 16 and Nelson 13.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis was a double winner Friday. The Wooden Shoes beat Casey-Westfield 41-6 in seventh-grade play and 28-24 in the eighth-grade contest.
T-town stepped out to a 12-2 opening quarter lead and led 28-2 at halftime. Emily Konkel tallied 21 for the winners who improve to 12-2.
In the eighth-grade game, T-town led 15-13 at halftime and 19-15 going into the final quarter. Grace Hoene scored eight for the winners who are 12-2.

At Strasburg
Effingham St. Anthony captured the championship of the Stewardson-Strasburg Eighth-Grade Tournament during play Saturday.
In opening games, Cumberland downed Stewardson-Strasburg 28-10 by taking an 18-4 halftime lead. Carr scored 10 for the winners. Hayes and Vonderheide scored four each for Stew-Stras.
In the second contest, St. Anthony pounded Effingham Sacred Heart 45-7. The Bullpups ran off to an 18-0 first quarter lead. Strullmyer tallied eight for the winners as 12 players scored in the game.
Sacred Heart was led by Rozene with three.
The third place game went to Stew-Stras over Sacred Heart 22-14. Stew-Stras led 12-1 at halftime. Sacred Heart came back with an 11-6 third quarter but couldn't make up that first half.
Hayes scored 13 for Stew-Stras who picked up its first win of the season.
Hakman led the Shamrocks with 10.
In the title contest, St. Anthony ran off to a 24-0 first half lead and led 21-0 going into the final quarter.
Guy scored 16 for the Bullpups. Stultz scored the lone field goal for Cumberland.
