RAMSEY -- Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City claimed junior high girls basketball victories Friday over Ramsey.
In seventh-grade action, CHBC was a 39-5 winner to improve to 4-0 on the season. Mady Wojcik tallied 10 points while Madison Dye added eight and Gracie Heckert seven.
In eighth-grade action, CHBC was a 23-10 winner. CHBC led 11-4 at halftime and had a 10-2 third quarter. Tatyana Duckwitz scored eight points.

At Strasburg
Altamont came calling and went home with two victories over Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor Friday.
Altamont held a 24-8 halftime lead in the seventh-grade contest and went on for a 35-18 win.
Nelson led Altamont with 10 points.
Stew-Stras/Windsor was led by Richards with eight points. The squad dropped to 0-3 in the National Trail Conference, 0-4 overall.
In the eighth-grade game, Altamont picked up a 41-18 win. McManaway led the winners with 18 points while Nelson added seven.
Hayes led SSW with 12 points. The squad dropped to 0-3 in the conference, 0-4 overall.
