Effingham Sacred Heart, Sigel St. Michael, Teutopolis and Effingham were all local winners in girls seventh-grade regional action Monday evening while Jasper County claimed the championship of the Class 7-3A Lawrenceville Parkview Regional.
7-1A St. Anthony Regional
Sigel St. Michael opened with a 46-8 victory over Noble in the St. Anthony Regional Monday evening.
In the second game of the evening, Sacred Heart downed St. Anthony 24-10.
St. Michael and Sacred Heart meet for the championship Wednesday evening at 6.
7-3A Casey-Westfield Regional
Paris Mayo claimed the opening game Monday evening at the Casey-Westfield Regional.
Paris Mayo defeated Cumberland 39-25. In the second contest Teutopolis was a 36-23 winner over host Casey-Westfield. T-town held a 17-10 first half lead then had an 11-4 third period run to seal the deal. Marianna Hemmen tallied 21 for the winners who improve to 15-8.
T-town will now meet Paris Mayo at 6 p.m. today for the championship.

7-3A Pana Regional
Brownstown and Pana will square off for the championship of the Pana Regional after picking up victories Monday evening.
Brownstown blasted Greenville 41-2 in the opening game. Pana then won over Hillsboro, but no score was reported.
Brownstown will now take on Pana tonight at 6:30 for the championship.
7-4A Charleston Regional
Effingham moved into the championship game with a 31-26 victory over Mattoon Monday at the Charleston Regional.
The Mustangs trailed Mattoon 5-4 after the opening quarter but took an 11-8 lead at halftime and held on for the victory. Effingham was led by Armstrong with 15 points and Meyers with nine.
Effingham will now take on Charleston, a 33-23 winner over Champaign Jefferson in the opening game Monday, at 6 p.m. today for the regional championship

7-3A Lawrenceville Parkview Regional
Jasper County claimed the championship of the Lawrenceville Parkview Regional Monday evening.
Jasper County led 19-8 over host Parkview then held off a second half challenge to pull out the 30-26 win. Alexis Cox scored 11 and Abby Frohning 10 for the winners. The squad hit 71 percent from the free throw line.
Jasper County advances to the Teutopolis Sectional Wednesday, November 28 for a 6 p.m. contest.
