G. Wolfe, Donaldson, Beals, L. Wolfe Make Apollo All-Conference Teams

Named All-Apollo Conference from Effingham were, left to right, Grant Wolfe, Brent Beals, Jacob Donaldson and Landon Wolfe.

Effingham High School had two players reach the First Team and two the Second Team as the All-Apollo Conference Teams were named.

Seniors Grant Wolfe and Jacob Donaldson were named to the First Team along with Kevin Cox, senior, Mount Zion; Logan Clayton, senior, Taylorville; Jonah Smith, junior, Mount Zion and Drake Jefferies, senior, Mattoon.

Second Team members are Effingham senior Brent Beals and sophomore Landon Wolfe, Brenden Boles, senior, Salem and Jordan  Moats, junior, Taylorville.

Effingham won the Apollo championship with a perfect 10-0 record followed by Mount Zion 8-2, Taylorville 5-5, Salem 4-6, Mattoon 2-8 and Charleston 1-9.
