DIETERICH -- Dieterich High School picked up a victory in its own Class 1A Boys Basketball Regional Tuesday evening.

The Movin' Maroons pounded Martinsville 65-34. Dieterich took a 33-13 halftime lead and never looked back.

Ryan Radloff, a 6-foot junior, tallied 19 points while Callaway Campton added 12 and Devin Flach 12 for the winners. Radloff nailed three trifectas while Flach and Evan Bohnhoff had two each.

The Maroons advance to the championship game Friday at 7 p.m. against the winner of tonight's Oblong vs. Cisne game at 7.

Class 1A Altamont Regional

Altamont easiliy handled Ramsey in the opening game Tuesday night as its own Class 1A Regional, 76-41.

The Indians edged ahead 18-13 after the opening quarter and held a 33-22 halftime lead. Altamont then had a 43-19 second half.

Mitchell Sevenson led the Indians with 18 points while Evan Cornett chipped in with 11 and Sam Childerson 10.

Altamont is now 18-11 on the season and will face St. Elmo/Brownstown at 7:30 p.m. today in semifinal round action. In the opening game tonight at 6, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City meets Nokomis.

St. Elmo/Brownstown edged Mulberry Grove 79-75 Tuesday evening.

SEB moved ahead 25-19 in the opening quarter and led 36-33 at halftime. SEB then had a 43-42 second half edge.

Landon Feezel tallied 34 points and pulled down 18 rebounds for the Eagles. Three other players hit double fiigures. Isaac Maxey scored 16, Lewis Brown 14 and Klayton Kroll 10.

St. Elmo/Brownstown improves to 17-10 and will play Altamont at 7:30 Wednesday.

Class 1A North Clay (Louisville) Regional

Neoga advanced to tonight's action with a 63-49 win over Sandoval Tuesday evening.

The Indians jumped out to a huge 20-8 opening quarter lead on Sandoval and held a 39-15 halftime tally. Sandoval came back in the third quarter with a 19-9 run but Neoga steadied and held off the Blackhawks for the win.

Drew Ramert led Neoga with 18 points while Jackson Clark had 15 and Caleb Hill 13.

In the second game, Grayville downed North Clay (Louisville), 57-49.

The Bison edged out to a 13-6 opening quarter lead but North Clay came back to tie the score at halftime 23-23. Grayville then had a 34-26 second half run.

Aleon Rinehart led the Cardinals with 21 points while Brandon Repking chipped in with 11. The Cardinals end the season with a 5-22 record.

Class 1A Bethany Okaw Valley Regional

Patoka took the early lead then had to hold off a second half challenge by Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg for the 51-42 victory at the Class 1A Bethany Okaw Valley Regional.

The Warriors took a 15-8 opening quarter lead and led 27-18 at halftime. Patoka then had a 15-10 third period run. Windsor/Stew-Stras came back with a 14-9 final quarter but couldn't make up the 14-point deficit.

Josh Overbeck tallied 16 points while Nic Hutchinson chipped in with 10. The Hatchets finish the season with a 15-14 record.

Top-seeded Patoka advances with a 27-3 mark to face the winer of tonight's game featuring Moweaqua Central A&M and Bethany Okaw Valley. The championship is scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m.

Class 2A Newton Regional

No. 2 Marshall handled Casey-Westfield to the tune of 64-43 in the lone game in the Class 2A Newton Regional Tuesday evening.

Marshall now advances to face the winner of tonight's game, either Robinson or Lawrenceville, at 7 p.m. Thursday for the championship.
