Lark Leading Scorer In Millikin University Loss

The Millikin men’s basketball team lost to Carthage College 99-66 on February 18 in Decatur in the Big Blue’s final home game of the 2016-17 season.

Sophomore Tyler Pygon (Orland Park, Providence Catholic H.S.) and freshmen Jordan Cunningham (Danville, H.S.) and Logan Bader (Aurora, Missouri, H.S.) each had 12 points in the game for Millikin.  Pygon had four assists and Bader had a team high five rebounds.

Millikin lost at Elmhurst College 85-48 on February 15.  Millikin’s top scorer was Leighton Lark (Effingham, H.S.) with seven points.

Millikin will close out the season on February 21 at North Park.
