Sophomore Boys Basketball -- Feb. 16

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis handed Newton a 72-60 loss in sophomore boys basketball competition Thursday.

The Wooden Shoes leaped out to a 25-13 opening quarter lead and led 49-24 at halftime and 61-46 going into the final quarter.

T-town had three players reach double figures. Seth Probst led the way with 18 points while Lucas Drees tallied 13 and Charlie Hoene 10.

Newton had four players in double digits. Weber scored 14 while Schafer had 13, Finn 12 and Zumbahlen 10.
