EHS Moves Up Spot in Latest Boys AP State Poll

Effingham moved up a spot in the latest Associated Press State Boys Basketball Polls.

The Hearts were ranked ninth in the Class 3A poll and have moved up into the eighth spot with a 22-3 record and 31 points. Standing in the top spot is Morgan Park with 10 first place votes, a 17-3 record and 104 points.

In Class 1A, Effingham St. Anthony dropped a spot from seventh to eighth. The Bulldogs are 24-4 on the season with 33 points. The top spot is held by Colfax Ridgeview with eight first place votes and a 25-1 record.

Teutopolis remained stationary in Class 2A at the No. 4 spot. The Wooden Shoes received one first place vote and is 24-3 on the season with 86 points. Standing in the No. 1 spot  is Quincy Notre Dame with four first place votes, a 22-2 record and 110 points.
