Meet Movin' Maroons Tuesday, Nov. 6

DIETERICH -- Dieterich High School will have its annual "Meet the Movin' Maroons" Night Tuesday, November 6. Admission to the night's activities will be one non-perishable food item per person.

Activities for the evening include:

4-7 p.m. -- Senior class chili and vegetable soup supper in the school cafeteria, free will donation.

5:40 p.m. -- Pre-game, music provided by the high school band.

6 p.m. -- National Anthem sung by members of the Dieterich High School choir.

6:03 p.m. -- School song, cheerleaders/dance team

6:05 p.m. -- Introduction of the girls basketball team, Donetta Ohnesorge and Dana Pals

6:10 p.m. -- Introduction of the cheerleaders with performance, Michele Hartke

6:15 p.m. -- Introduction of the boys basketball team, Jeff Staser, Obie Farmer

6:20 p.m. -- Freshman/sophomore scrimmage, eight minutes

6:30 p.m. -- Introduction of dance team with performance, Lisa Teichmiller

6:35 p.m. -- Steve Hardwick, "Officials Point of View"

6:50 p.m. -- Varsity boys scrimmage, three minute pre-game, 10 minute scrimmage

Approximately 7:05 p.m. -- Dismissal, exit the gym in a timely manner so the high school boys can begin practice.
