Freshman/Sophomore Boys Basketball -- Feb. 4

Effingham St. Anthony edged Altamont 54-50 in the Neoga Freshman/Sophomore Boys Basketball Tournament Saturday.

The Bulldogs held an 11-4 opening quarter lead but Altamont came back in the second period to pull within 21-17 at halftime.

The two squads played to a 12-12 third quarter tie and a 21-21 final period.

Fearday tallied 20 points for the winners while Webb added nine.

Altamont was led by Teasley with 19 and Duckwitz with 11.
