Freshman/Sophomore Boys Basketball -- Jan. 30

Effingham St. Anthony captured a 63-52 win over Newton in freshman/sophomore boys basketball action Monday evening.

The Bulldogs had a 17-14 opening quarter lead and pushed that to 44-30 at halftime. Leading the way was Dust with 29 points while Brandenburger chipped in with 10.

Newton was led by Finn with 15 and Schafer with 12.
