Junior High Boys Basketball Results -- Jan. 27

Teutopolis split victories with Alton in eighth-grade A and B boys basketball competition Friday.

Alton won the A game 44-35 with a 20-4 third quarter run.

M. Deters tallied 18 for the Wooden Shoes while Addis had nine.

In eighth-grade B play, T-town edged Alton 28-22. The Shoes blanked Alton 10-0 in the opening quarter then held off a third quarter challenge for the win.

Weidner tallied nine for the winners while Kremer chipped in with eight.
