Teutopolis split victories with Salem in freshman/sophomore boys basketball action Monday evening.
The Wooden Shoes freshman squad claimed a 53-25 win. T-town outscored Salem 15-8 in the first quarter and pushed the lead to 31-13 at halftime. The second half was simliar to the opening half. Luke Ungrund led in scoring with 22 points while Mitch Hardiek chipped in with 13.
T-town's sophomore squad couldn't get going until the final quarter and by then it was too late in a 59-33 loss. Salem held a 34-9 halftime lead and had a 16-10 third quarter. Charlie Hoene led the Shoes with 10 points.
