Freshman/Sophomore Girls Result -- Dec. 14

CHARLESTON -- Altamont handed Charleston a 56-22 loss in freshman/sophomore girls basketball competition Wednesday evening.

The Indians trailed Charleston 15-7 after the opening quarter but came back strong with a 25-2 second period to lead 32-17 at halftime. Altamont had the game under control from that point on.

Katie Grimsley tallied 13 points for the winners while Mary Guse chipped in with 12.
